Injured Elephant In The Mud: Wildlife team to the rescue, an uplifting tale of triumph

The injured elephant is laying in the bush, on a muddy patch of land, with very little shelter. He is clearly in a lot of pains, as he is moving in a lot of discomforts, trying to get on his feet. He is unsuccessful in his attempt to get to his feet.

Villagers have gathered around it, looking on from a distance away. There is not much they can do to help.

The elephant is not moving so much. His eyes are dim, and tears are rolling down from it, as a result of the pains. A wildlife team comprising vets have arrived at the spot. They carry out some examinations on the elephant.Injured Elephant In The Mud: Wildlife team to the rescue, an uplifting tale of triumph They clean his head, then give him a saline solution, four members of the team combine to do this. Another member of the team, pours water on its body, to help him cool off, while they do this. The elephant is struggling with pains as the saline is being administered.

He is moving his trunk and legs very weakly, as he is still in pains. The vets continue to tend to the elephant, while the medicine works on him; adjusting the saline, and making him more comfortable.

They leave him for some time to recover, then check up on him after a while. Then they clean his head and body with water.

The elephant is by now, already recovering some of his strength and is once again trying to get up. A tractor has been brought around to carry the elephant away. The wildlife team ties the elephant, to the back of the tractor.

They take their time putting the rope around the elephant properly. They get this done and use the tractor to pull the elephant away from the muddy field.
