In the beautiful island of Sri Lanka, Elephants roam the streets and through village areas freely in many regions of the country. The small island nation is full of elephants that are loved by most of the inhabitants of the island. Most educated in the country are continually fighting corruption and animal abuse especially towards the treasures that elephants are to the state as Sri Lankan elephants are known as the largest and the strongest among Asian elephants.
Elephants run into a countless number of problems every day around the whole island of Sri Lanka. They fall into farm wells, muddy pits, or get caught on traps set for other animals that raid crops near farming villages. This footage is about two elephants, a baby elephant and a mother who faced a tragedy. The baby elephant was stuck inside a deep pit with no way to get out. Some travelers heard the loud noises and moved to investigate and found the baby elephant stuck inside a pit.
This footage is full of funny incidents as well. However, some villagers decided to follow these officers to the incident site to watch them in action. As they approached the site, the elephant mom ambushed them, and they had to abandon their motorcycle and run towards the caterpillar.
At the end of the footage, you can see this embarrassed baby elephant chasing after people who came to save it. This is a common thing with the baby elephants, they always chase after people, and it is quite funny to look at. However, they were reunited together after the rescue operation and moved to the jungle again peacefully.
