The One Who Did Not Want Help: A Resilient Team Comes To The Rescue (part 2)
The elephant was with gunshot wounds. A big strong rope was tied to the legs but the elephant kept resisting using its head and its trunk. The rescue team sprayed some medicine over the wounds. But the elephant needed further treatments and observation. For that rescue team decided to transport it to a wildlife rescues camp.
The One Who Did Not Want Help
Story continued from there
The rescue team went ahead to get a caterpillar to pull the wounded elephant into the vehicle so they can treat it immediately. Upon this, the elephant continued to resist being taken away.
The men tied a big strong rope to the caterpillar and tied the other end of the rope to the elephant’s legs. Upon this, it kept on resisting. If only it knew they were only trying to help it and make it better. After so much resistance, the elephant eventually got into the vehicle but it was a combined effort of the rescue team, caterpillar and some men in the army.
The rescue team began treatment immediately inside the vehicle. They injected the elephant with a lot of medicine and cleaned its wounds. All through this procedure, the elephant remained.
The locals showed up in their scores to check out what exactly was happening. Young and old, male and female all wanted to catch a glimpse of this injured elephant. After it was treated, the elephant began to rest its trunk.
The vehicle was large enough so there was enough room for it to move around, but it did not. The driver of the vehicle began to drive away from the forest to take the elephant out for further treatments and to a safe place. This was done with the help of the army and villagers. As he kept driving, the locals followed the vehicle until it disappeared into thin air.
