Brave humans saving a giant elephant from a wire trap
It was a usual sunny day in the island in the rural areas with the smell of trees and the wind when wildlife officers spotted this humble giant having such a hard time breathing and eating due to its injured trunk. This is not a situation to take lightly, so these wildlife officers quickly deployed out towards saving the giant in need of help.

This is undoubtedly a trap set for a wild boar or other crop raiders in the region. Even when the villagers and farmers are strongly adviced not to deploy any traps for any living animal, they do it without thinking twice.
Officers treated the wound as soon as they could, and they were successful in the event of safely removing the wire that wounded the trap too. After the successful save, the elephant was vaccinated correctly and was sent back to the forest.
