Finally, the giant can stand up after an extended period of being weak and suffering from pain. Wildlife officers did a great job by not giving up on this giant, and now this giant looks very happy and cheerful.
Elephant shot in the leg-But the treatments will go on for a long time as this giant will require a lot of food brought closer and more injections and other medical supplies to help it fully recover. The leg injury and internal organs maybe still under risks of different kinds of infections as this giant was half submerged earlier. Wildlife officers and vets will take extra precautions to stop any of those from taking over.
Here the vets decided to shoot with the tranquilizer gun also with some medical shots as it is still dangerous to get closer to the giant since it has recovered to gain momentum. Later another officer took the time to remove those darts from the body slowly. We hope to share more news with this humble giant as we progress on. Be on the watch out, this giant will be running and be back to normal very soon.
