Young elephant saved under threats of a giant elephant. These People are awesome
Another younger elephant stuck on a wire fence that was set in the human populated area to mark boundaries. This elephant has been struggling for a while when many gathered to help this young elephant, Sri Lankan elephant in pain.
People haven’t been able to do much since the elderly parent of this elephant is also lurking by as he or she is concerned about the young one. This young elephant is fairly grown and is hard to handle. It’s difficult to let it loose from the wire that is stuck with the elephant while causing injuries.
Wildlife officers quickly move away from the younger one as they spot the adult elephant moves towards the younger one. They quickly use firecrackers to chase the giant elephant away. During that time, they use the short moment to free the tangled elephant from the wire that is damaging the elephant’s leg.
It is a common scenario for these people to get chased by the elephants they save from such trouble. We are grateful to everyone who came to help this elephant be free of this painful situation for this young elephant. The next task waits where our local wildlife experts get to find them soon to treat the young elephants, wounds.
