Muddy well couldn’t claim this elephant thanks to humanity.
Wild elephants are the island of Ceylon are sometimes the most adventurous as they try to explore the outside world of their natural habitats. They are occasionally curious about human villages and smells of food from the food villagers cook. Crop raiding has been their favorite game for the last recent decades.
Muddy well couldn’t claim this elephant thanks to humanity-This giant got into trouble as it probably thought that it’s a good idea to lean down to drink some water from the well. Well, it got trapped and had been struggling until villagers in the area discovered the trapped elephant.
Villagers swiftly contacted the wildlife authorities, and with the help of logistic supports available in the area, they were able to deploy a caterpillar in order to dig a path out of the well.
The well seems to be deep one with over 1.5 M of muddy water. The elephant looks fine though that it sure faced some bone cracks or internal injuries due to the fall. Officers were able to dig a path for the elephant to climb out, and the elephant was calm even after coming out. It was grateful and took a calm approach without chasing everyone around. The elephant was forced to fall back towards the jungle so a medical team can pursue it for further treatments required.
