A brave elephant saves himself from a furious canal
The famous Z D canal is a trap for every roaming elephant around the agricultural villages closer to forests. There have been numerous counts of incidents where elephants fell into this exact. With growing tension between humans and elephants in the country and with no proper planning and considering the environment and its animals, this canal should have included an exit for animals that fall into this.
A brave elephant saves himself from a furious canal – This time it is about an adult elephant that came out searching for new water sources outside the safe zones assigned to animals.
As usual, locals are excited and are eager to help the elephant from the canal. They have contacted wildlife experts and the police regarding this matter. The way out of this canal is far from reach, so the only way to get out is by climbing up through an easier slope.
Such large elephants are harder to deal when they are larger and weigh more than we can lift without heavy-duty vehicles. The water in this canal is at a very high level that is taking the elephant away and away from being rescued.
After a few attempts, they were unsuccessful in getting the elephant towards climbing the rope to escape the canal back to the jungle. But the elephant didn’t give up. The elephant held on to a corner by the end and was able to come out. The elephant kindly went back to its jungle without any conflict with humans.
